Device Buyback Request

After submitting your request to use the Device Buyback Program, you will receive your offer via e-mail within one business day. 

To accept the offer, print out the shipping label included in the e-mail and send the device to ProtectCell. 

Once we've received the device and check it over for damage, ProtectCell will have a check sent out to you.


Buyback Rates*

  • 1st 12 months - 50% of the full retail value at time of purchase
  • 2nd 12 months - 25% of the full retail value at time of purchase
* Values based on carrier's published
retail value at time of purchase.


Please note: Only members who purchased a plan on/after November 23, 2011 are eligible to use Device Buyback.

Please note: A member that has previously requested a device is not eligible for the Buyback Program.
